·Responsibilities:
· Assist in the coordination of projects through various phases of design, development, construction, and close-out;
Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
Assist in preparing detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents for permit, tender and construction.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
· Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and monitor progress.
· Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
· Other responsibilities may be assigned.
· Staying updated on advancements in architectural technology, building products, and construction methods.
· Fluency in English
40 hour work week
Hybrid position
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Diploma in Architectural Technology at an accredited institution, or equivalent;
· Registration with OAA as an Intern Architect or Licensed Architect (or in the process of obtaining licensure).
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with healthcare, institutional, and/or hospitality design.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other relevant design software.
· Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Knowledge of and experience in applying architectural design principles, procedures & relevant building codes.
